Dalane Miljøverk AS (DIM) is an inter-municipal waste disposal company. Owners are Bjerkreim, Eigersund and Sokndal municipality with 13.02%, 68.50% and 18.48% ownership shares, respectively. The organization number is 922 169 063

The purpose of the company is the collection, sorting and final treatment of waste and septic sludge from homes and cottages in the region.

DIM has an office and operating base at Svåheia in Egersund. The company also owns 3 waste stations for receiving private waste, located centrally in each participating municipality (Rekeland, Tengsareid, Vikesdal).

DIM collects household waste with its own cars and crews. DIM also operates container sites (return point) for recycling glass and metal packaging.

DIM has 13 permanent employees and a turnover of around NOK 39 million. The accounting services are performed by Azets Egersund and the auditor is Deloitte dept. Lyngdal.
