Midtre Namdal Avfallsselskap IKS

Midtre Namdal Avfallsselskap IKS (MNA) is an inter-municipal company owned by 12 municipalities. The company is subject to the law on intermunicipal companies. MNA carries out waste disposal in the owner municipalities and treats waste from households and companies. The main facility is located at Stormyra waste facility, while the administration is located in the Barlia competence center in Overhalla municipality. We collect waste from 17,500 subscribers in the 12 owner municipalities.

Private households produce just over 15,000 tonnes a year at home, and almost 10,000 tonnes are delivered from households to our recycling stations.

Our owner municipalities are: Bindal, Flatanger, Grong, Høylandet, Leka, Lierne, Namsos, Namsskogan, Nærøysund, Osen, Overhalla and Røyrvik. There are almost 40,000 people living together in these municipalities.
