Frevar KF

FREVAR KF owns and operates the municipality's process plant for wastewater treatment, water production, energy recovery and waste management. Service production is divided into business activities and municipal tasks.

On 21.03.02, a founding meeting was held in Fredrikstad municipal council to establish FREVAR as a municipal enterprise.

There were 63 representatives present in the municipal council. The meeting was chaired by the mayor. The meeting was declared lawfully convened and resolved.

In accordance with Chapter 11 of the Local Government Act, it was decided to establish FREVAR KF (municipal enterprise). The company is founded as a direct continuation of FREVAR organized as a municipal company with org. No. 979,952,171.

The company will be established with effect from 01.01.2002. An opening balance with paid-in equity of NOK 10,180,000 follows as an appendix to the foundation minutes.
