Our History
The company was established by Ole Fredrik Brunæs at Holm in Sande in 1957, and consisted of traveling around the district to trade in scrap iron, metals, bottles and rags. Gradually, there were more regular customers with the main emphasis on the engineering industry and heavy industry.
Later, his son Ole Steinar Brunæs joined, first as an employee and later as a co-owner. The company changed its name to Brunæs Gjenvinning AS, 1 January 2004 and is today owned by Ole Steinar Brunæs.
The business consists of purchasing, receiving, processing, selling and transporting of metal scrap etc.
The company has its own plot at Holm in Sande and has a relatively large machine park and equipment with good processing capacity.
