Our Story

In 2014, Bernard was in the business of buying storage units at auction with visions of being the next star of Storage Wars. A treasure hunter at heart, after winning a few auctions he did find some hidden gems; but he realized he was mostly paying to get rid of other people’s junk. He had his lightbulb moment and thought “maybe people would pay me to get rid of their junk” and a business was born. What started as a hobby on the weekend, turned into what you now know as Twin Ports Trailer Trash. It all began with a pickup truck, a trailer, and a funny company name. Malcolm joined the team as Bernard’s business partner in 2016. Now it has blossomed into the leading junk removal company in the twin ports area.

Family

Along for the ride with Bernard is his wife of 13 years Emily. They have 3 children — 4 year old twin girls and a new baby boy.

OUR CREW

Jon – I have 2 boys 13 and 10, and 2 daughters 5 and 6. I love any outdoor activities, Fishing and Hunting is life the rest is just details!

Manny – I grew up near the Twin Cities and now call Duluth Home. I am a passionate trout and salmon fisherman. I love to do anything outdoors. I am all about learning new things, gaining experiences and making memories. Seeing people smile, spreading love and helping anyone I can makes my world go around!

Jamie – My name is Jamieann but I go by Jamie. I am married with 4 children, 3 older boys 15,12 and 11 and one spunky 8 year old girl. I enjoy anything outside with my family like camping, fishing, hunting and wheeling. Fun fact about me is that my dream is to become a lawyer one day!

Malcolm – I grew up in Detroit and now call Duluth home. I am married to my beautiful Wife Jasm’ne. I have 2 dogs, Rocky and Ace. I like to Play video games and Poker and go on adventures with my wife.

Bernard – I lived in NY for most of my life and moved to Duluth in 2009. I have the best wife in the world, Emily. We have twin 4 year old girls Charlotte and Lucie and a baby boy Max. I enjoy Poker, Fantasy football and growing my business. My key to success is to treat people how you want to be treated!

Emily – Married to the main man, Emily keeps things running behind the scenes! She is mama to 3 amazing kids Twins Charlotte, Lucie and baby Max. Her hobbies include running around after her 3 kids, not getting enough sleep and starting projects that she never finishes!
