The company's purpose is to collect discarded vehicles and sell products that are a natural consequence of this.

History

Biljenvinning AS was founded on 15 August 2006. The company's shareholders are Hellik Teigen AS ( www.hellik-teigen.no ) and Ragn-Sells AS ( www.Ragnsells.no ). Both shareholders have significant expertise in the waste sector. Ragn-Sells has extensive expertise in logistics related to waste and Hellik Teigen has its expertise in the treatment of metals. In the spring of 2006, Biljenvinning entered into an agreement with Autoretur AS on behalf of the car importers in Norway, on the collection of end-of-life vehicles. From 1 January 2007, the responsibility for the treatment of discarded vehicles was transferred from the state to the car importers. We are present throughout Norway with the exception of Troms and Finnmark where Car Recycling is not established.

Biljenvinning AS has a network of collection points under establishment. Where we are represented can be found under the heading Find car scrapyard . Car recycling emphasizes that the collection must follow current laws and regulations to ensure that the treatment at all stages is done in as environmentally friendly a manner as possible.
