FGR is part of the growing textile collection industry across the US.  By collecting and exporting clothes, shoes, bedding, etc. to struggling areas in the US and abroad, this industry can generate revenue, create jobs, benefit the environment and help to improve the lives of those in lower income areas in America and around the world. Many families depend on used clothing.  Buying used clothes is not just an eco-friendly choice and a smart decision, but may also be the only choice for some families. Collection and resale keeps unwanted textile products out of our landfills where it can be reused by others.

FGR works with businesses, not-for-profits, schools, places of worship and others in our community to collect unwanted items.  We then resell the discarded items to recyclers who sort the items and then export them to small towns along the Texas/Mexico border and into Central America.  The used items are welcomed by those shopping in flea markets and lower income resale stores. 

We are proud to be a new breed of for-profit businesses, which partners with not for profits and other community organizations.  As part of our business practice, FGR strives to benefit the environment and reallocate unwanted textiles to those in need thus creating jobs and opportunities in the secondary marketplace.
