Recycling and recovery: a benefit for the environment

The company GIREV (Gestion Industrielle de Recyclage Et de Valorisation) was created in 1994 in Châtenois, with the aim of meeting the growing needs for recycling glass and wood.

We take care of industrial glass and wood waste: from collection to transformation into various reusable derivatives. Every year, we recycle 70,000 tonnes of industrial glass (laminated glass, double glazing, windshields, etc.).

We install dumpsters for the collection of industrial glass waste at the disposal of companies, factories and municipalities. They are then sent to Châtenois and Distroff in order to be sorted by color, crushed, recycled and recovered.
