The set-up of Reukema Recycling International in 2004 marked the company’s expansion into the international market.

• In 2004, the British company Borders Recycling Ltd., active in the field of paper recycling, was brought into the Reukema Group. Purchasing activities in Germany and Africa also followed.
• In 2005, Container Terminal Harderwijk B.V. was also completely taken over by the Reukema Group.
• In 2006, a trading office was opened in Shanghai (China).
• In 2007, the American company C&L Associated Inc., active in the field of non-ferrous metal recycling, joined the Reukema Group.
