Fabrude Recycling

Fabrude Recycling was born from the takeover of a demolition company twenty years ago by Jean Fabre and Claude Rudelle. Their association gave the name of the company FAB-RUDE for Fabre and Rudelle. The company continued the recycling of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, the sale of second-hand spare parts and expanded by developing the rental of skips, the treatment of waste through approved channels, the sale of iron, sheet metal and the management of end-of-life vehicles.

Administratively, since 1976, the Prentegarde site has been authorized under the regulations for Installations Classified for the Protection of the Environment (ICPE), under section 286 (storage and recovery activity of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, metal objects and carcasses of end-of-life vehicles).

In 2003, a merger took place with another group recycling company, SELF AUTO 12 based in Onet-le-Château. The two brands Fabrude Recycling and SELF AUTO 12 came together under the entity TRANSAC AUTO SARL.

Since 2006 Fabrude Recycling has been approved for the deconstruction of ELVs (PR1500001D). In addition, this company has been Qualicert certified since 1997, and it has the authorizations for the transport and brokerage of ordinary and hazardous waste.

In 2011, an additional decree was issued to Fabrude Recycling for the St Paul-des-Landes site authorizing it to operate a transit, shredding and storage of non-hazardous waste (wood, paper, cardboard, plastic, etc.) as well as the treatment of hazardous waste from garages.

In 2016, as part of its development, the Fabrude Recycling establishments bought a former sawmill based in Nieudan to develop new activities there. This new site will be intended for the storage of green waste and rubble.
