Sono Plus, Ltd.

The 'SONO' landfill, owned by the Association of Municipalities for Waste Management (SONO) and operated by the subsidiary Sdružení SONO PLUS, sro, serves to store permitted waste from the vast majority of the Litoměřice district and part of the adjacent districts.

SONO PLUS, sro has been the operator of the landfill since 1 May 1998.

Newly, SONO PLUS, sro also operates a composting plant , where it is possible to receive waste containing natural organic substances, such as waste from greenery, wood chips, bark, fruit and vegetable residues and some other waste from food production and agricultural production.

Another newly opened operation is a facility for recycling construction and demolition waste . Recycled material will be certified and subsequently sold, for example, to construction companies or other entities for further use, mainly in construction.

Furthermore, the company owns a DAEWOO AVIA container truck with containers of various sizes and offers the possibility of removing rubble and municipal waste or transporting materials.

HISTORY

The idea of ​​solid waste management and the construction of a landfill for the Litoměřice district was started in 1988 by the District Office in Litoměřice.

On January 27, 1994, the Association of Municipalities for Waste Management was established by a voluntary decision of city and municipal councils with the aim of long-term solution of ecological solid waste management, including completion and operation of a landfill in the cadastre of Želechovice.
