Valor Pôle 72

17 Avenue Pierre Piffault , Le Mans France, Pays de la Loire, France | Paper Recycling

The SITA and PASSENAUD companies have created, in Le Mans in Sarthe (72), a regional eco-center dedicated to new waste recovery technologies. The ambition of this eco-center is to provide the Sarthoises communities and the craftsmen and industrialists of the Manceau basin with technically and financially mastered, sustainable and responsible solutions to deal with the problems of waste recovery and treatment.

Valor Pôle 72 benefits from the most advanced sorting systems which guarantee a refined treatment and an optimal valuation of the flows, in particular 4 ballistic separators to separate the 'hollow bodies' from the 'flat bodies', then 7 optical sorters to separate the paper and newspapers from cardboard boxes / boxes within flat bodies, as well as to separate the different types of plastic bottles (PET bottles, HDPE cans, Tetra Pak bricks, etc.). Within the hollow bodies an overband isolates the ferrous metals and an eddy current installation isolates the aluminum cans.

The sorting center, with a surface area of 5,000 m2, has an annual capacity of 45,000 t / year.

It offers a sorting solution for waste from selective household collections to produce Secondary Raw materials for recycling.
