In April 2011, REMAT GLASS sro became a full member of the Association of the Glass and Ceramic Industry of the Czech Republic and is represented in the professional section for glass recycling.

In May 2011, the company successfully completed the project of building a glass recycling line in the Kelčany plant near Kyjov by obtaining a building permit. The new recycling line is the only one in the Czech Republic to process car glass, laminated glass, safety glass, building glass with a wire insert and packaging glass.

The project was co-financed by the European Union - Cohesion Fund and the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic under the Operational Program Environment.

Recycled waste glass is supplied to glass companies in the Czech Republic in the form of input raw material for glass production.
