Claustre Environnement

Lieu-dit La Croix, Marsac-en-Livradois, Auvergne, France | Waste Management

HISTORICAL

CLAUSTRE ENVIRONNEMENT was created in 2008 by David CLAUSTRE.

One of the priorities of the company, since its creation, has been to provide a local service in compliance with the principles of sustainable development, by supporting manufacturers and communities in the Ambert and Courpière basin in setting up comprehensive management of their waste at affordable costs.

In 2008, the company set up in Marsac-en-Livradois, on a 3.3 hectare site, near the CET of Ambert, in new facilities. They include a sorting chain, a multi-waste sorting and grouping platform (bio-energy, scrap metal, plastics, plasterboard, rubble, etc.). The company then has 3 employees.

In 2015, CLAUSTRE ENVIRONNEMENT bought a company in the same core business in Courpière (63), to expand its activity in the Puy-De-Dôme department. In order to work better with traders and artisans and to receive them in good conditions, the company has created a platform on an asphalt surface, with dedicated storage areas.

Pursuant to the ministerial decree of March 15, 2005, CLAUSTRE ENVIRONNEMENT obtained an approval as a demolisher of End-of-Life Vehicles (prefectural decree n ° 2006-271-002 of September 28, 2008 - approval renewal on May 28, 2013).

Since January 2018, the activity has been extended to the Thiers-Dore-Montagne sector
