1905

Creation of the family business in Châteaubriant by Auvergne Etienne Barbazanges with the recovery of skins and rags.

1930 Development of the iron and metals business The activity of the Barbazanges company has been taken over from father to son.

1983

Establishment of activities in the industrial zone of Châteaubriant (44) on 3.5 hectares including 1,500 m2 of buildings. This site is now dedicated to the iron and metals business. Investment in a first shear press.

1999

Creation of a multi-waste sorting center authorized and approved by prefectural decree 121 / ENV / 98 on 7.5 hectares including 3,500 m2 of buildings, housing a sorting table, a baling press and a building for hazardous waste.

2004

Obtained ISO 14001 certification which validates our environmental policy.

2005

Construction of the new administrative building of 500 m2.

2005

Opening of a recycling center for professionals.

2012

Approved site for the storage, pollution control and cutting of end-of-life vehicles (ELV) with the purchase of an ELV station.

2013

Investment in a CSR (Solid Recovered Fuel) production unit complementary to our sorting center for recycling on 1 hectare including 3,500 m2 of buildings.

2016

Creation of the Couëron site (outskirts of Nantes 44) on 1.6 hectares including 2,000 m2 of buildings. Waste sorting and grouping center, recycling center for professionals and iron and metal buying counter.
