Plastics Europe

PlasticsEurope represents European producers of plastics. In Europe, the plastics sector is characterized by its dynamism and its contribution to improving the quality of life, to innovation by facilitating better use of resources and to climate protection. The European plastics sector generates some 340 billion euros and mainly employs more than a million and a half people who work in 62,000 companies, mainly SMEs.

In addition to the plastics producers who are represented by PlasticsEurope, the plastics industry includes processors represented by European Plastics Converters (EuPC), recyclers represented by European Plastics Recyclers (PRE), and machine manufacturers, represented by European Plastics and Rubber Machinery (EUROMAP)
