Regeal Affimet

Since 1966 and its creation by PECHINEY, AFFIMET produces and markets 1st and 2nd fusion aluminum alloys sold in the form of ingots to manufacturers in the automotive, aeronautics, armaments, rail, street furniture, mechanical sectors, etc. European countries and beyond (Israel, United States, India, etc.).

A subsidiary of the AUREA Group (European leader in sustainable development) since July 2009, Regeal AFFIMET has the most extensive range of alloys on the French market.

In a global context, Regeal AFFIMET has been able to invest regularly to meet the demanding requirements of major industrial contractors, by offering products in line with their technical and standard requirements.

Invested in sustainable development, Regeal AFFIMET participates in the recycling of aluminum waste.

History

1966: Start of the recycling activity on the site in Compiègne under the name of AFFIFRANCE (regrouping the former refineries of La Courneuve, Juvisy and Saint Denis) PECHINEY Group

1971: Takes the name AFFIMET following the merger of Affifrance and the refining branch of Penarroya)

1992: Recycling of used aluminum packaging from selective collection

2007: The assets of the Compiègne site are sold to RecovCo Affimet which installs two RTF furnaces to replace the fixed axis rotary furnaces

2009: AUREA takes over the assets following the cessation of payment of RecovCo AFFIMET, the company becomes REGEAL SASU
