Alfred Hösli AG

We are an innovative recycling specialist with a long family tradition. The company Hösli scrap iron and metal goes back to «Fiälähauer» Fritz Hösli-Stüssi who started collecting scrap in the early 50s and gradually built up and expanded the business until it became his main occupation. In the mid-1970s, Fritz Hösli was able to expand and create a second transshipment point with the scrap yard at the SBB site in Weesen. Since June 1985 Alfred and Annerös Hösli have been successfully running the company in the second generation, which was converted to Alfred Hösli AG in 1991. The 3rd generation of Hösli has been represented in the company by Urs Hösli since 1998.

Our strength lies in the professional collection, sorting and processing of non-ferrous metals, scrap iron and steel scrap. We ensure that these valuable substances are fed back into the material cycle.

In addition to our core business, we offer our customers a wide range of services, from dump service for trade and industry, to industrial dismantling and dismantling, to individual advice on comprehensive disposal concepts.

Our tireless team of around 10 employees ensures a reliable service to our customers with great commitment, know-how and flexibility.

Small transporters up to 3.5 tons, truck hook devices with skips and trucks with cranes bring scrap and residues from private and industrial customers from all over the area to our two company premises in Glarus and Weesen.

The materials delivered are sorted and prepared with material handlers and forklifts and made available for further processing and transport. In our new recycling hall at Weesen train station, we have a direct rail connection.
