1994

the company Häuselmann founded the building rubble sorting system AREC AG in Worblaufen. This is the first level 3 (automatic waste separation) facility in the canton of Bern. All deliveries of construction waste and rubbish of any kind are accepted by companies and private individuals.

1997

the NWV (local heating network) was built. This is a waste wood chip heating system, which utilizes the waste wood from the AREC company. The Swisscom head office with 1,000 workplaces and 6 other companies benefit from this heat generation from renewable energy sources.

2 pcs. Trailers for hookloaders are put into operation.

Jürg and Stefan Häuselmann take over the operational management of the companies Häuselmann AG and AREC Abfall Recycling Bern AG.

2011

After more than twenty years, a new 3-axle skip loader is purchased, so that larger and heavy skip skips can also be transported. The range of skips is expanded with a large number of drive-in skips in sizes from 4 to 8 m3 and large skip skips 7 m3. The workshop and locksmith's shop for in-house and third-party repairs is further expanded. 7 employees maintain and maintain the 'Fahrbabe'. A new sorting excavator 'Fuchs' is purchased for the processing of the wood chips in the AREC. This machine is used to feed the two-stage shredder system for wood and combustible waste.

2012

In order to be able to park all vehicles and equipment, we have been looking for commercial space for a long time. In mid-2012, an additional plot of commercial land was purchased in the former Gurit-Worbla area in Ittigen.

2013

Another 3-axle skip loader with the latest exhaust technology (Euro 6) can be put into operation. So that the removal from the AREC AG sorting plant is even more efficient, a third trailer train is purchased. A new tire loader is purchased at AREC to make the material loading even more efficient to handle.

2014

As of January 1st, 2014, Peter Balsiger will take over the dump truck business in Münsingen. This step allows the catchment area to be expanded further towards the Bernese Oberland. A location in Münsingen helps to continue the prompt service that was set up and practiced by 'Balsigers'. A new sorting excavator was put into operation in the AREC. This machine is equipped with a particle filter.

2015

A 3-axle hookloader with a 2-axle trailer was delivered in the middle of the year. It is used for rapid removal from the AREC sorting plant. A 4-axle roll-off tipper can also be used on the construction site. The new building in the Gurit (step building Ittigen) is well advanced. The building will be ready for occupancy towards the end of the year.

2016

After a short period of suffering, the long-time VR President and owner Ueli Häuselmann died at the age of 77. He was still in the company every day until the treatment and was always at our side with his knowledge and energy. 2017 The increase in the LSVA (performance-based heavy vehicle tax) on 01.01.

2017

forces us to renew the vehicle fleet further. Thanks to our workshop, we were able to equip two 4-axle chassis as demonstration vehicles with a roll-off tipper device and thus put two new Euro 6 vehicles into operation. In order to simplify the disposition, our entire system was 'digitized' in the middle of the year. The orders are now sent to the vehicles on a tablet. Customers receive a printout of the delivery note directly on the construction site, and the contents of the trough can be documented. The invoices can be created directly from the system, which has shortened the delivery time of the invoices enormously. Invoices can also be sent digitally on request.
