The company history

 1959

As a self-employed person, Franz Raetzo is looking for a new field of activity. He switched to the transport business and bought a dump truck.

1965

Due to an accident of the father, son Angelo takes over the still young transport business in the Stockera (municipality St. Antoni) on his own account

1968

Construction of the necessary truck parking garages including a workshop in the Stockera.

1968 to 1985

Thanks to the good economic situation, there is a systematic expansion of the well-developing company.

1985

Expansion of the range of services: Foundation of 'Angelo Raetzo - dump, container service and waste disposal'.

1968 to 1993

In accordance with the needs of customers and the ever increasing requirements of environmental protection, the necessary purchases are made on an ongoing basis (purchase of further trucks, machines, devices, troughs and containers).

1995

Purchase of commercial land in the Schlossacher industrial and commercial zone in Alterswil

1997

Foundation of the stock corporation 'Angelo Raetzo AG' with headquarters in Schlossacher, 1715 Alterswil and with a branch in Stockera, 1713 St. Antoni

1998

Construction of a commercial hall in Schlossacher, 1715 Alterswil The construction includes: • Waste sorting system • Waste transfer station • Public waste collection point • Truck parking garages with repair workshop • Office rooms, apartments

2002

Opening of a second branch in 3186 Düdingen

2005

The public collection point at the headquarters in Alterswil is being expanded. In addition, there is the installation of the electronic vehicle scale.

2007

Transfer of business to son Roland Raetzo and daughter Petra Oberson-Raetzo.

2008

Expansion of the garbage transport service for municipalities.
