Möckli Beton AG
Freudenfelserweg , Eschenz, Thurgau, Switzerland | Multi-Material Collection
Was founded in 1933 by Konrad Möckli as a transport company and is now in the 4th generation. At the beginning of the 1950s, gravel mining began in Schlattingen with wet and dry processing. Gravel was extracted and processed in Eschenz as early as the early 1960s.
In 1974 a new gravel plant with a concrete plant was built in Eschenz.
Concrete has also been produced in Eschenz since 1974. With the re-commissioning of the gravel plant, the recurring sludge transports became an ever greater problem. The decision in 2012 to install a sludge press with silos required fresh water basins, which had to be built up to 11 meters below ground next to the existing gravel works. At the same time, a wheel washing system with automatic sludge disposal and water supply was installed. At the same time, the expansion for the processing of mixed demolition into washed components for high-quality recycled concrete with additional silos, dosing systems and machines for processing was realized.
Today one of the most modern gravel and recycled
concrete production plants is in Eschenz, which guarantees a sustainable building material cycle (recycling rate> 99%).
From November 1, 2019, Chris Möckli will take over the family business and thus found a new stock corporation, Möckli Beton AG. With some restructuring, one would like to continue the company in the next and thus 4 generation.
