The group

The Gobat SA Group is made up of three companies which together combine their skills to create a solid group.

Gobat Transport & Recyclage SA

Based in Develier, formerly Georges Gobat SA, is a family business now employing around twenty people. It has been working in the field of transport and recycling since 1959.

Its sectors of activity are:

the management of a materials and waste sorting center,

the exploitation of quarries and landfills,

the dumpster service,

waste collection,

recycling of materials,

cleaning of pipes,

the emptying of pits and dumps.

Historical

1959

Foundation of the Georges Gobat company, located at the route de Courroux in Courrendlin, by Mr. Georges Gobat and his wife Renée Gobat whose main activities are earthworks and transport.

1980

Change of status of the Georges Gobat company to Georges Gobat SA.

1982

The son Didier Gobat joins the family business.

1996

Relocation of the company to rue de la Combatte 8 in Develier.

1998

Authorization to operate the sorting center.

2003

Takeover of the company Albert Comment SA in Courgenay.

2011 Construction of a material washing facility.

2014

Grandson Gaël Gobat joins the team.

2015

SUVA certification and accreditation for carrying out asbestos removal work

2016

Takeover of CDRec SA from Buix.

2018 O

pening of the GoTri recycling center in Develier

2019

Albert Comment SA becomes Gobat Génie Civil SA
