Our history
Company history 90 years of Hubschmid 1930
The entry in the commercial register of the Johann Baptist Hubschmid haulage company, which has been in existence for a number of years, was made as a collective company Johann Hubschmid & Sohn (Johann Hubschmid, 1908). At the same time, the first small gravel plant was opened on the road to Mellingen (production of sand and binding gravel for road construction). At that time a small sensation was the purchase of the 1st Saurer truck.
1932
Opening of the second gravel works (production of unwashed concrete gravel for building construction). A little later, a crushing plant for the production of rolled ballast for road construction was added.
1936
1st tractor-Trax 'Chaseside-Fordson'
1937
The Saurer truck was replaced by the 1st FBW truck. This in turn was replaced in 1968 with just under 1 million km.
1940
Expansion of the 2nd plant with a gravel washing plant
1951
Johann Hubschmid sole proprietorship (1908) | Use of the 1st Pneutrax «Michigan»
1956
From this time onwards, the earthworks were carried out mechanically and the 2nd Pneutrax «Michigan» was used.
