Story

1896

Founds the Rhenish immigrant Robert Lottner sen. in Basel a trading company for all types of waste materials and sets up a first warehouse

1920

The business grows and a new company is set up in the north-west of the industrially expanding Basel, where the parent company is still today.

1956

The business has been run by son Robert Lottner junior since 1939. who founded the first subsidiary in Altstetten near Zurich under the name LOPATEX AG in 1956

1971

A modern sorting plant for paper raw materials is being built at the previous location in Basel and the founder's grandson, Dr. Peter Lottner, leads LOTTNER AG into another four decades of successful company history

1977

E. MÜLLER AG is founded as a further subsidiary in Ebikon near Lucerne

1981

New building for LOPATEX AG at the new location in Dällikon near Zurich

1990

New building for E. MÜLLER AG at the new location in Buchrain near Lucerne

1995

Construction of the waste paper sorting plant of LOTTNER AG at the Birsfelden (BL) location

1997

Foundation of REISSWOLF Aktenvernichtung AG; it is headed by Martin Lottner

The LOTTNER Group has a contemporary structure: LOTTNER HOLDING AG is founded as an umbrella and management company

As part of a succession plan, the French PAPREC RECYCLAGE takes over the companies of the LOTTNER GROUP, which has been operating as PAPREC SUISSE SA / PAPREC SCHWEIZ AG since 2011
