Kilcher Transporte Ag

Fabrikstrasse 17, Utzenstorf, Bern, Switzerland | Waste Collection & Disposal

COMPANY OVERVIEW

We are a transport company that can look back on more than 50 years of experience. In the following sub-headings we would like to give you some impressions of our company.

History

In 1953, Kilian Kilcher started with tractors and trailers to carry out occasional transports for the neighborhood.

In 1955 he and his wife Klara Kilcher decided to found a transport company. At that time the fleet consisted of tractors and a Henschel truck. The customer base grew over the years, which made it necessary to expand the company.

At first only transports were carried out in the region, later throughout Switzerland and finally also in the neighboring countries.

Kilian Kilcher recognized very early that one should not only rely on one horse . That is why the new division of excavation, earthworks and demolition work was founded, to which more and more areas followed such as: 'Dump service, disposal, crane work, factory relocations, etc.'.

Kilian Kilcher died in 1989. The family members decided to continue the business. Thereupon the company Kilcher Transporte was converted into a notarized stock corporation.

With the takeover of the vehicle fleet from the Utzenstorf paper mill in 1999, the company has strengthened itself further.

We are also active in combined transport (BDF). In December 2005, KILCHER TRANSPORTE AG founded the company PLI (Switzerland) together with PLI Germany.
