KEBAG AG in Zuchwil SO is the second largest waste recycling plant in Switzerland. It undertakes to dispose of, treat or recycle combustible waste in an economical and environmentally friendly manner and the residues from 178 municipalities in the cantons of Bern and Solothurn with a total of 507,300 inhabitants.

We are a competent, self-critical service company in the waste disposal sector.

We are committed to doing business in accordance with the law in the interests of our shareholders. Our main task is the appropriate, economical and environmentally friendly disposal, treatment or recycling of combustible waste and the resulting residues. Through far-sighted capacity planning, we ensure the disposal of combustible waste in our catchment area. When it comes to waste management, we are guided by the Swiss waste model and the waste planning of the cantons of Bern and Solothurn. We support and promote measures for an environmentally friendly use of resources.

The company is also the largest electricity producer in the region and generates most of the electrical energy in Switzerland from the waste it receives.
