Since the establishment of the company in 1925 by Ernst Balsiger, who at that time as a so-called 'Hudilumper' collected all kinds of junk goods such as bones, animal hair, woolen clothes and rags with his horse and cart, a lot has changed. 1 man and 1 hp vehicle from house to house. At that time, HVF or CO² charges were not an issue. In the 50sYears his son took over the business and bought the first truck. Now the groupage has expanded significantly. The rapid technical development after the war years produced a wide variety of waste such as plastics, scrap iron, aluminum and ever larger quantities of paper and cardboard. For the time being, all waste was disposed of unsorted in the 'pit'. However, environmentally friendly waste disposal with waste separation and recycling of valuable raw materials soon became an issue.

In 1979 Hans and Verena Gasser-Balsiger took over the business and gradually expanded the company into a recycling specialist.

To constant further development and innovative ideas, the company was able to develop continuously.

2005 The newly built recycling hall including office, canteen and treasure trove turned out to be long overdue. A new milestone in history has been set. Further construction measures such as oil separators, coalescence filters and truck scales were implemented on an ongoing basis.

2008 Since this year we have been officially certified according to ISO 9001/14001 and can meet today's needs of our diverse clientele. Municipalities, hospitals and certified companies are often only allowed to commission waste disposal companies who are themselves ISO-certified annually.

2013 After seven years as a workshop employee, chauffeur and managing director, Christoph Zimmermann starts a new adventure with his young family Jennifer, Giuliana and Livio as the 4th generation of the family business. As a trained electrician with a diploma as a business specialist and training as an examination expert recycling specialist EFZ, he is committed to the future and training of the next generation.

2015 First successful apprenticeship completed. We are proud to train our own offspring and were able to win Raffael Ringgenberg, a committed recycler with a federal certificate of proficiency.

2017 Thanks to constant improvements and investments, we were able to certify ourselves for a further 3 years according to the new standard 9001: 2015 quality management and 14001: 2015 environmental management. This includes recycling and disposal, dump service and the well-known and unique treasure trove.

2018 Commissioning of the solar system 50 KW on the company building. So we can recycle with our own solar energy! The facility was honored with a 2nd place as an innovation prize by the Gantrisch Nature Park.

2019 Takeover of WELAKI Dumpster Transport and Chauffeur from Siegenthaler GmbH, which had to dissolve the company on 01.02.2019 due to a tragic accident at work . From now on we can serve you in a more extensive and versatile way in the hollow service.

Our 3rd apprentice daughter started her apprenticeship as an EFZ recyclist.

2020 Successful ISO recertification for the next 3 years. The quality of our work has thus been officially confirmed.
