Nature values ​​it when residues and waste are recycled and fed back into the material cycle.

In 1993 we made our first experiences with field edge composting on our farm. The demand at the municipal level was so great that we decided to expand this branch of business.

No sooner said than done, a permanent composting site was built in 1998 and expanded again three years later. A parking garage for machines and refined earth and wood products was also built in parallel. The weighbridge, which is indispensable today, was also built in 2001.

Four years later, in 2005, we again reached our capacity limits. An acceptance point for wood and roots was built. In this way, the green waste processing area can be relieved.

Renewable energy? Yes, this topic was already dealt with in 2006 and we are happy about it. Thanks to early zone changes and various preliminary investigations, the project planning and construction work on the biogas plant was completed in just 3 years. The companies Recycling Energie AG, BAQ and Hufschmid Grüngutverwertung have teamed up and are now producing: green electricity, heat, biodiesel, compost, liquid fertilizer and energy heating chips.
