Agroamb Prodalt

At Agroamb Prodalt we are dedicated to the recovery of organic waste from the Galician industrial fabric for the agricultural sector. A recovery that involves subjecting the waste to a treatment cycle for obtaining agricultural fertilizers. We work mainly with sewage sludge from both wastewater stations and food industries, but also with manure, wood combustion ash and all materials that can be recycled safely and with guarantees for use as fertilizer or agronomic amendment. Our offer includes a comprehensive management of these products, for which we perform soil and sludge analyzes and fertilization plans, establishing the appropriate doses to apply according to the crop.

These organic products are the result of wastewater treatment and are characterized by having a number of elements that make them attractive to be used as fertilizer. For example, they have a high percentage of organic matter, in addition to nitrogen and phosphorus, which are essential for plant growth.

The origins of the Agroamb Group date back to 1999, at the hands of a veterinarian from Lugo, Severiano Ónega, specifically from Ponte de Outeiro-Castro de Rei, who was the first person in Galicia to register to use sewage sludge in agriculture. and turn a waste into a resource. Today at Agroamb Prodalt we devote much of its resources to applied research and collaborate on projects with Universities and Knowledge Centers.

Based in Lugo, Agroamb employs more than 38 people from rural areas and more than 150 people indirectly in activities complementary to agriculture and we also provide services to more than 50 companies and communities. But this, is just the best known badge of a wider group.

The Agroamb Group is formed through a structure of four companies that close the cycle of agricultural production, with the added contribution of the recovery of biodegradable organic waste as fertilizer for agricultural use. Specifically, all the companies in the group that started only with fodder production, currently provide consulting and management services to the waste industry, transport and treat biodegradable organic waste to finally develop agronomic plans and distribute and apply fertilizer. on land, already turned into a HIGH VALUE ADDED RESOURCE, in addition to carrying out all the agricultural work necessary for proper application.
