AR Los Huertos: recycling of construction waste

The opening in 2010 of ' AR LOS HUERTOS ', Center for Recycling of Waste from Construction and Demolition , takes place at a time of significant recession in the sector. The construction decreases sharply, but the effects of previous years remain as uncontrolled dumps distributed throughout the Spanish geography.

AR LOS HUERTOS is a business expansion project, which contributes in addition to the creation of jobs, which have an impact on the economy of the area in which the company is located, to the reduction of the environmental impact that until now caused indiscriminate abandonment of waste, avoiding in this way the contamination of our soils and aquifers and recovering environmental spaces.

In this sense, we have believed it necessary to dedicate a part of our activity to the creation of an Environmental Education-Awareness Project , with the aim of informing and raising awareness about the environmental impact of our actions, the use of the resources at our disposal ... Definitive everything that leads to the assessment of our particular environment and the planet in general.
