ECOVIDAL - Recycling company

It is in 1953 when Miguel Vidal Papire begins to collect the excess cardboard and paper from various shops.

In a short time, he observes that the volume of material exceeds his possibilities and decides to acquire a place from which to centralize the business and store said material, while broadening his horizons. The expansion of infrastructures is followed by the expansion of business lines, recovering materials of various kinds, such as plastics, metals, wood ...

In its early years, the company adopted the name of the Madrid street where it is located: Aligustre, and that is how it continues to be called at first, when it moves to Torrejón de Ardoz, taking advantage of the industrial growth of the area. After several years, Miguel Vidal delegated the business to his sons and a second office was opened in Guadalajara.

Since 1982 the company has been established as M. Vidal e Hijos SL, as it is still known today, together with the name Ecovidal.
