We are Jimeno Tagús SL , a company specialized in recycling and valuation of plastics and rubbers that offers its services in Logroño . We also offer our work in Rioja, Navarra, Basque Country.

Our company

The company began its activity as a plant for the collection and treatment of used vegetable oil, expanding its activity over time towards industrial plastics and packaging.

Currently, more than 700 clients receive the service of Jimeno Tagús in four communities: La Rioja, Navarra, Castilla y León and the Basque Country.

Foundation

We started the journey with the TAGÚS company in October 1999 . We were looking for a difference in the recycling of used vegetable oil and we began to achieve it at the end of the year 2000 collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of Environmental Quality of the Government of La Rioja, for a system of collection and management of domestic used vegetable oil. System that still continues to bear fruit today.

Due to the experience we had from day to day, in May 2004 we designed a more versatile type of container , reducing collection costs to facilitate recycling in Town Halls.

The accolade took place in 2001, when we won the public tender to collect and transport batteries from the different municipalities of La Rioja.

Growth

In September 2002, JIMENO TAGÚS, SL was created to provide greater coverage due to the rapid growth developed at that time, vehicles are purchased and more personnel are hired.

It was time to analyze each type of waste that we were managing, with the aim of seeking improvement, how to achieve the best recovery thereof, as well as a reduction of cost and efficiency .

In addition to vegetable oil, we began to recycle plastics , rubbers and packaging 

The services we offer are both the destruction of packaging and economic recovery, reaching clients such as Nestle , Cocacola , Pepsico and Schweppes .

We are currently working on the collection, management and treatment together with other companies in the recycling sector.

During this time we have received various awards from the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of La Rioja .
