At the forefront of waste management in Andalusia

Recycle Andalusia is a Malaga company specialized in the comprehensive management of all types of waste, with extensive facilities of more than 300,000 m2 in the center of the Guadalhorce Valley.

Our story

In 2005 the idea arose due to the absence of nearby recycling plants where to take the demolition waste of a house.

2005

The Idea Arises

The plant project began with the construction of a small housing development in Coín in 2005, where our family business participated as a developer. The need arose for us to dump a considerable amount of different waste from the demolition of an old house, and we found ourselves with the problem of not having where to take it, since the closest and legal plant was in Valsequillos, near the town of Antequera. From that moment we began to study the need in the area for the management of all waste. The first thing we did was a meeting with almost all the Mayors of the municipalities of the Guadalhorce Valley, where we explained the need for the area and the intention of undertaking a new project that would meet that need.

2008

Project processing

All the mayors supported this initiative and committed themselves by signing a letter of support for said project, since the need in the area was notorious. The next step was to meet with those responsible for the Environment of the Junta de Andalucía and the President of the Malaga Provincial Council at that time, we explained the project and the support it had from the Mayors of the area, with which the president of the Diputación also supported the idea. The first thing we did was a visit to the farm with those responsible for the Environment, to see if the conditions of the site were suitable for this project.

2013

Opening to the public

At the inauguration we had the presence of all of all the Mayors of the area, technical service of municipalities and Andalusian government, commands of the Civil Guard and the Minister of Economy, Innovation, Science and Employment of the Andalusian Government Mr. José Sánchez Maldonado This project comprised one of the most important management plants in the area and possibly in Andalusia, in which practically all types of waste can be managed, either directly or by transfer.

2017.

CAT In 2017 we started a new project to expand our business lines, starting with the construction of an industrial warehouse for the decontamination of end-of-life vehicles received at our facilities.

2018

New facilities

In 2018, Recicla Andalucía is committed to improving its facilities, building new offices where the management, administration and sales work of the different business lines will be carried out.

Present

Active Business Lines

Currently Recicla Andalucía has the following business lines active:

1) Management and recycling of different waste such as RCD's, wood, pruning ...

2) Sales of recycled aggregates such as sand and gravel.

3) Reception, decontamination and processing of derecognition of out-of-use vehicles.

4) Sale of vehicle parts. In addition, RECICLA ANDALUCÍA is working on the incorporation of a new line of business, this being the collection of hazardous waste from workshops, paint stores and other facilities that have this need
