Latvian Green Dot

The Latvian Green Dot  promotes environmental education,  cares for a clean and tidy environment in Latvia for 20 years , annually investing significant resources in educating children and youth on environmental issues, implementing educational campaigns, campaigns and competitions and promoting responsible business by organizing the Green Dot trademark .

JSC 'Latvijas Zaļais punkts' was founded on January 11, 2000 and is the most experienced producer responsibility organization. Since its inception, Latvijas Zaļais punkts has been taking care of the management of used packaging. Since 2006, the Latvian Green Dot has also been responsible for the management of used electrical goods and environmentally harmful goods. 

We are well aware that waste will inevitably always be generated, but our aim is to turn waste into value, not to landfill it. We are for Latvia without landfills. We are for Latvia, where waste is sorted, recycled and new value is found.

We are convinced that responsible and wise use of resources helps to save both companies and every inhabitant of Latvia. Spending less does not mean stagnation, but on the contrary - development and a higher quality of life. We are for wisdom, responsibility and development.
