AI COMPOUND

AI COMPOUND is the compound division of Agricola Imballaggi srl.

The plant in Albanella (Salerno), of about 51,000 square meters of which 17,600 are covered,  produces polypropylene granules , through the  regeneration and regranulation of production waste in polypropylene and polyethylene , by  extrusion and compounding  with inorganic fillers and other additives. Initially projected into the production of packaging for the fruit and vegetable sector, in the last fifteen years AI COMPOUND has consolidated its presence in the field of plastic recycling and transformation of plastic materials by differentiating its range of products.

The experiences gained in the production plants have always been focused on the  formulation of polyolefin-based composites  with inorganic and non-inorganic fillers. Among the  polyolefins , the family of polypropylene,  homopolymer and copolymer , is the one that finds the widest use in formulations. Furthermore, in order to meet the different needs of customers, AI COMPOUND has equipped itself with a technologically advanced pilot plant for the development of customized products.

AI COMPOUND is particularly sensitive to environmental issues and a policy of respect for the environment is pursued in all work and production processes. The company adheres to the most important platforms for the recycling and processing of waste or plastic waste such as CONIP or COREPLA and all production and processing plants follow the most careful safety standards.
