Unibax

The company Unibax Sp. z o. o. was established on July 25, 1991 in Warsaw with the participation of foreign capital. In the initial stage of development, the company started trading in granules and producing modern PET packaging. A wide range of designs, capacities, as well as attractive colors and obtained certificates constantly attracted new customers.
 
The design department developed dynamically, leading in 1994 to the creation of the first automatic UPT 2 machine with a capacity of 1,400 pieces of 1.5 l bottles per hour. High quality, aesthetics, precise workmanship and competitive prices had a direct impact on the great interest in this product. In 1996  , design work began on a new type of machine with the symbol UPT 1 - a semi-automatic machine with a capacity of 600 bottles per hour.

 
In 2002, Unibax changed its business profile. The production of machinery and the trade in PET pellets were discontinued. The activity of trading in cattle hides was commenced.
 
The next changes took place in June 2003. The collapse of the footwear market forced a change in the profile of activity. The company started the production of fluffy thermowelded nonwovens used mainly in the furniture industry. In order to increase the production capacity in the field of non-woven production, in 2006 the company acquired a company in Brzeg.
 
At the same time, the company expanded its business profile to include the production of PET, HDPE, LDPE, PP flakes from secondary raw materials.
 
In 2007, the company obtained a license to provide security services for people and property.
 
Simultaneously with the development of the core business, the company made numerous acquisitions. Currently, Unibax is the dominant entity in companies from the tanning industry (ZakÅ‚ady Garbarskie Skotan sp. Z oo), vehicle monitoring system (Navicar sp. Z oo). Its portfolio also includes the company Unipartner sp. Z o. O. Which so far has focused on real estate services.
In 2006, Unibax sp. Z oo established the company KST Unibax SA, which dealt with sports activities. In the 2007 season, Unibax sp. Z oo was a strategic sponsor of the ToruÅ„ speedway team.
