Cartiera S.Rocco SpA has been a point of reference for years in the production of tissue paper for hygienic use exclusively from recycled raw material.

Cartiera S.Rocco SpA, with over 25 years of experience (born in 1982), manufactures mother reels (jumbo rolls) intended for paper converting plants for the production of finished products for large consumption, such as: napkins, toilet paper, rolls industrial, placemats, etc.

The company, established in 1982, initially operated in the 'tissue paper' sector for shoe factories with a plant located in loc. Biecina, about two km from the current plant.

In 1984 it bought the current industrial complex, which operates in the sector of tissue paper production for hygienic-domestic-sanitary use. The first plant had a production capacity of around 10,000 tons / year.

In March 1985 the paper machine for the production of tissue paper for sanitary use was put into operation. In August 1986 the old factory where tissue paper was produced was closed.

The affirmation in terms of quality of the products offered, prompted the partners to make, in 1998, a significant investment directed to the implementation of a new paper machine with an increase in production capacity to 20,000 tons / year and with an expansion of the buildings industrial area of ​​about 6000 square meters. In April 1998 the activity of the old plant ceased.

The substantial investment plan significantly changed the company's production structure, becoming fully operational in the spring of 1998; therefore 1998 can be considered as the turning point.
