“Stam Trading” JSC is a leading manufacturer of aluminum alloys and details and processor of scrap metal in Bulgaria. The success we have achieved results from management’s efforts to manage the company in conformity with all European quality and environmental protection standards.

The company has been successfully certified under the Quality Management System EN ISO 9001:2008. Additionally, the company has covered the European standards ISO 14001:2004 – Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001:2007 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

The implementation of ISO/TS 16949:2009 is forthcoming – The Quality Management System in enterprises occupied with the design, manufacture, regulation and service of the production, which is designated for the vehicle-construction industry.

As a continuation of company’s energy efficiency policy we also intend covering the international standard ISO 50001 – Energy management system that aims at assisting the companies in defining the systems and processes which are necessary for improving the energy features, including the energy efficiency, power use and consumption. The implementation of this standard should decrease the greenhouse gas emissions and the other related environmental impacts and of the energy costs via the systematic energy management.

The socially responsible behaviour of the company aimed at improving the energy efficiency and the green economy is evidenced by the comprehensive permit that was implemented in 2010 and issued by the Ministry of environment and waters – a preventive instrument for assuring the implementation of measures targeted at effective resource use, elimination or mitigation of the harmful and dangerous compound emissions in the air, water and soil, including measures for preventing the formation and lawful management of the industrial waste.

Currently the company has three flame-reflecting furnaces (for foundry casting works from 7 to 9 tonnes,) for aluminum founding (packs of 500 kg, each block weighting 6 kg, with length of 60 cm), as well as with well-equipped manufacturing facilities and office. The manufacturing capacity of the furnaces is around 1200 tonnes of finished products monthly.

Around 90% of the finished products are designated for export, predominantly for Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy, Slovenia and other European states, and 10% – for strategic domestic clients. It is not by chance that foreign companies demonstrate great interest in the products manufactured by “Stam Trading” JSC, since the company is striving for manufacturing aluminum alloys in conformity with the highest quality standards and regulations.

In view of closing the manufacturing cycle – from processing the aluminum waste to the finished products and in view of all sustainable development regulations and concepts “Stam Trading” JSC offers manufacturing and founding aluminum products under high pressure and gravity die casting with founding capacities from 0,020 kg to 20,00 kg.

The company has manufacturing facilities that are at high technological level with the full set of die-casting with horizontal cold camera “Polac”: 250, 400, 630 and 1000-tonne ones, and is capable of satisfying more specific and non-standard requirements of the clients based on the assured quality of the raw materials being used.

Another area in which “Stam Trading” JSC has been developing is scrap metal trading.
