Plastic that is not recycled is a waste of our common resources. Therefore, we have decided that all plastic packaging in our country will be recycled and become new plastic products. Now that we have built Europe's largest and most efficient plastic recycling plant, we are taking a big step towards our vision. With fully automated technology, we sort the different types of plastic with maximum precision and the highest quality, which reduces wastage and ensures that as much as possible can be used for new plastic products. And best of all - we have the capacity to receive all plastic packaging from households throughout Sweden.

But Europe's most efficient facility is not enough for the vision to become a reality. Major climate challenges require joint efforts. It is about helping producers who sell their goods to choose plastic packaging that can be recycled. It also means that you and I who buy the goods sort the plastic at source. And not least that our common systems for collecting the sorted plastic are optimal. All stages of the recycling chain are equally important. 

Plastic is a fantastic material with unique properties that make our modern society possible in many ways. Now the conditions for utilizing the value of plastic as a recycled raw material are fully in place.
