The beginnings of the company VIPAP VIDEM KRŠKO dd date back to 1939, when Fran Bonač built a pulp factory in Udine near Krško and employed 180 locals from the Lower Posavje. Today, VIPAP is the largest paper producer in Slovenia and the leading producer of newsprint in SE Europe, which creates added value through sophisticated technological processes in the production of fiber and paper, providing comprehensive and quality solutions for its users and working in harmony with natural and wider society. environment.

In the period from 1997 to 2015, we invested more than EUR 150 million in the company with the aim of relieving the environment and modernizing technological processes. At the same time, we increased total fiber and paper production to 440,000 tons per year. This represents the most extensive investment cycle in the company's history and that is why today VIPAP successfully competes with European and global competition.

At VIPAP VIDEM KRŠKO, we are committed to continuous development and future orientation. We are aware that the future is based only on the development and production of environmentally friendly products and the use of environmentally friendly technologies. Therefore, we have carried out a number of ecological and technological updates in the last fifteen years, and since 2006, in accordance with the environmentally friendly vision of operation, we have focused mainly on the production of recycled paper. Our investments are planned, and with them we contribute to the conservation of natural resources. Today, we see our mission in the production and marketing of quality papers based on recycled fibers in combination with wood and sulfate pulp.
