For more than 25 years POLYMER TEAM is known as one of the market leaders in production and sales of APP (Atactic Polypropylene) and IPP (Isotactic Polypropylene) compounds for application in modified bitumen roofing. The company owns 3 production sites. The two Italian sites produce solely APP compounds whereas the Belgian factory in Tessenderlo is dedicated to both APP and IPP compounds.

Recently Polymer Team Tessenderlo started a diversification of its activities by developing and commercializing Polypropylene compounds, based mainly on recycled PP-streams, for use in various injection molding and extrusion applications. More specifically the focus is on compounds applicable in the production of flower pots, buckets, crates, garden furniture and automotive parts.

To support this diversification process an important investment program was initiated to extend and adapt the laboratory and production facilities, and to reinforce the internal technical knowledge. These efforts already resulted in the successful approach of several market-leading customers with newly developed compounds.
