The recycling of fiber packaging is financed by recycling fees paid by packers who use them and importers of packaged products. Suomen Pakkauskierrätys RINKI collects and settles payments in full to the producer organization. The Board of Directors of Suomen Kuitukierrätys Oy confirms the recycling fees annually.

Commercial and industrial fiber packaging is collected for recycling directly from the sites when the operator enters into an agreement with an environmental company for the collection of recyclable waste. Packaging delivered for recycling must be dry, clean and flattened. Fiber packaging must not be mixed with plastic packaging or packaging fillings or other materials.

A fibrous package is a package made of paper, board, liquid board or cardboard / corrugated cardboard or a combination material package containing more than 50% paper fiber by weight of the package.

Collection type CORRUGATED CARDBOARD or CARDBOARD. Corrugated packaging and packaging materials such as transport packaging, pallets, display racks, intermediate sheets, corner supports and pallets.

INDUSTRIAL FIBER PACKAGING

Collection type CARTON. Fiber-based and often plastic-coated or laminated packaging of products delivered to industry, such as paper roll wrappers and end tags, sheet wrappers, edge reinforcements and corner supports, sawmill, plywood, sheet and steel industry wrap laminates, paper bags and e.g. cores for use in the paper, plastics and textile industries.
