Akkukierrätys Pb Oy

Akkukierrätys Pb Oy was founded in 2008 to take care of the producer responsibilities of companies importing lead-acid batteries in vehicles or industry. Akkukierrätys Pb Oy is the only producer organisation approved in Finland for lead-acid batteries. It is allowed to assume all producer responsibilities related to lead-acid batteries in vehicles and industry. On behalf of its members, the producer organisation is responsible for matters such as organising the collection and recycling of batteries with its contract partners, consumer information, statistics, and reports to the national authority on producer responsibility: Pirkanmaa Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centre).

Akkukierrätys Pb Oy handles all producer responsibilities related to lead-acid batteries on behalf of its members, reliably and efficiently. Through the contract partners of Akkukierrätys Pb Oy, the collection and recycling of batteries is handled in accordance with legislation. Reports to authorities are made on time.
