Niemenkatu 73, Lahti, Päijänne Tavastia, Finland | Paper Recycling

Tarpaper Recycling Finland Oy has created a new kind of industrial symbiosis for the recycling industry and works in Finland in close co-operation with waste producers, waste utilisers, customers and various authorities. The company collects and processes secondary raw material from bituminous roofing waste for the asphalt industry. The operation of the entire value chain is based on the most efficient utilization of waste as a material, as well as the saving of natural resources and the reduction of the environmental impact of companies operating in the value chain, as well as the development of competitiveness.  We offer turnkey collection and reception services for sorted roofing felt waste to the construction and roofing industry, demolition contractors and waste management companies on a turnkey basis. The waste material is processed at Tarpaper Recycling's production plant as a secondary raw material for the utilization of the asphalt industry. The finished end product replaces virgin, oil-based bitumen in the production of asphalt. The end product “BitumenMix” is a high-quality and homogeneous researched secondary raw material that can be used by the asphalt industry to reduce its own and society's carbon footprint and improve the achievement of environmental goals.  Our goal is to ensure that our customers' roofing felt waste streams no longer end up in landfills
