Roba Amiga

Roba Amiga is a leading social company in the treatment of textile waste in southern Europe. It directly performs the service of collecting used clothing in more than 200 municipalities in the province of Barcelona and Tarragona. Roba Amiga recovers more than 10.000 tons of textile waste annualy through the installation of 1080 containers and also offering door to door collection services in cities like Barcelona, it anually recovers more than 17,500 tons of textile waste.

Used clothing is processed and distributed at the facilities of Roba Amiga EI, which includes a textile waste treatment plant of 6,000 m2 located in Sant Esteve Sesrovires. A team of over 75 people works in this plant preparing and delivering the best product for their customers.

Currently, Roba Amiga EI maintains collaboration agreements with the Government of Catalonia, local authorities and large textile companies, like INDITEX, whose support supports its potential growth. The goal of 2020 are to increase the collection and expand the agreements other Spanish social institutions, which will allow us to process 23,000 tons / year.
