SLC Hunedoara

The company SISTEM DE COLLECTARE SLC HUNEDOARA SRL is a social economy structure (SES) with the role of managing waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in Hunedoara county , but also in neighboring counties.

This structure functions as a WEEE collection center and carries out direct collection activities at the center and at the organization's home / headquarters, local transport activities, registration / weighing, sorting, storage of electrical and electronic waste and preparation of batches for delivery to specialized recyclers. .

The collection and sorting center is set up according to European standards in order to collect waste in an organized and safe way, in compliance with environmental regulations.

In the lowland6 jobs were created, of which 3 for people belonging to vulnerable groups: 1 SES coordinator; 1 manage; 1 forklift driver (vulnerable person); 2 manipulators (vulnerable people); 1 driver (vulnerable person).

Also, in order to support the SES activity,  a partnership was created with the local mayor's office, this being a first step in involving the local authorities in order to reach the European collection norms (respectively 4kg / inhabitant / year).
