1955

Sebastián Solís Sánchez begins his recovery activity with the collection of paper, newspapers and cardboard through the streets of Madrid. At that time, he only had one truck in which he transported the daily collection to a wholesaler in the capital.

1956

Acquisition of the first warehouse on Calle Peña de Francia, which is preserved today. At the beginning of the sixties of last century a new warehouse was acquired in the Barrio de la Fortuna.

1963

It is the year that S. Solís took off with the acquisition of the first land in the municipality of Alcorcón, south of Madrid. This allows an improvement in working conditions that leads to an improvement in the selection and quality of the final product obtained.

1988

S. Solís, SA is established. The expansion of the business in Alcorcón continues: land adjacent to the initial plot is acquired; two shredding and packaging lines were installed, one for paper and the other for cardboard, and diversified into waste management.

2000

The company appears in the XXI century with a storage area of ​​the order of 50,000 square meters, of which there are covered around 15,000, which makes it one of the largest European plants, with a storage capacity of 20,000 tons of paper, cardboard, wood, scrap and plastics.

2003

With the turn of the century, the first contacts with international markets began, importing and exporting in France and Portugal. In 2003 contacts began with Asian markets, mainly China and India. At present, the commercial network includes several clients in the European Community, North Africa and the Asian continent.
