PERE VALLS

The origins of Pere Valls go back to the Cal Jan mills, a set of three paper mills built in the mid-sixteenth century after a building license signed by the Abbot of Montserrat himself, Pedro de Burgos. The history of the Valls family paper trade, however, we find once the War of Succession ended in one of these three mills, the so-called 'Middle Mill', where Joan Valls undertook a career in the world of manufacturing a role that today, nine family generations later, we still keep alive and true to its origins.

Without forgetting where we come from, three centuries later, our permanent desire to be at the forefront allows us to have a high technology for manufacturing and quality control that today bases our hallmark: the versatility to offer customized solutions, the innovation to provide new uses of paper, the flexibility to meet the needs of our clients with new services and the qualitative demands of our products. At Pere Valls we are constantly evolving, therefore, in order to manufacture today what our customers will request from us tomorrow.
