Gamma Meccanica S.p.A designs and manufactures lines for the production of insulating materials and for the regeneration of plastics

Established in 1977, it consists today of three divisions, each one focused on a specific sector: the insulation division designs and produces lines for the production of mineral wools;

The extruded polystyrene division is dedicated to the creation of systems for the production of XPS boards;

The plastic division specializes in lines for the recycling of plastic material.

The constant technological and applicative research by the highly qualified staff, make Gamma Meccanica SpA one of the main players on the international market in the above mentioned field.

Gamma Meccanica designs and manufactures its systems in the plant in Bibbiano (RE – Italy) where the company can directly control both the development and the entire production process ensuring equipment of the highest quality.

Gamma Meccanica S.p.A.: more than 40 years of experience in the world!

Gamma Meccanica S.p.A. was founded in 1977 by a group of manufacturers of insulating materials to provide the maintenance to its machines. Immediately the interest was directed to the acquisition of customers outside of the the group, especially foreign companies.

In 1987 the “plastic division” was created, dedicated to the design and manufacture of equipment for the recycling of plastic materials, enriching their staff with a new team of technical and commercial specialists.

In 1992 Gamma Meccanica S.p.A. realized the first plant for the production of insulating boards in XPS.

Today 98% of Gamma Meccanica S.p.A. revenue comes from commercial contracts with foreign countries.

Gamma Meccanica S.p.A. has always been attentive to to the problems of pollution and environmental protection. That’s why since 2010 the entire production plant is powered by “clean energy” produced by the photovoltaic system located on the the roof of company buildings.

In 2014 the company obtained the certificate UNI EN ISO 14001 for its system that controls the environmental impact of its activities and for the the systematic search for improvement in a coherent, effective and sustainable way.
