Founded in 1898, active for over 120 years, through four generations.

We carry out the collection of ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap, their alloys and electrical cables with passion and professionalism.

The strength of tradition: this is how we could briefly summarize the philosophy that characterizes us.

Luigi Raffin and his son Paolo carry on that tradition which, together with the desire for continuous innovation, has allowed us to become a modern leader in the local market.

History

It was the year 1898 when Luigi Raffin founded the company in Feletto Umberto, which was succeeded by his son Erminio and, subsequently, by the nephew of the same name Luigi. Now in the fourth generation with the great-grandson Paolo, we have been operating since 2006 in the headquarters in via Slovenia 17 (ZAU) in Udine.

Our business is mainly focused on the recovery of ferrous and non-ferrous waste, their alloys and electrical cables.

The recovered material, once it reaches our plant, goes through different processing phases: storage, selection, sorting, volumetric adjustment, transformation and enhancement. From these processes, a high quality product is obtained which complies with the requirements of the Italian, European and non-European steel and metallurgical companies of which we are regular suppliers.

Raffin Srl has always stood out for its high professionalism and competence, elements which, combined with the experience accumulated over the decades, have allowed us to position ourselves as a reference point for customers in the province of Udine and its surroundings.

Our vision today is based on two pillars: the enhancement of the material recovered through different processing stages and the idea of ​​recycling as an element that contributes both to environmental sustainability and to the ever-increasing shortage of new raw materials.
